A walk in the park

The start of a new month always brings the start of new round for most of the events and yesterday We ❤ Role-Play opened its doors.  I’m featuring this lovely gown by The Annex and the lizard round stone bench by 22769 from this event. The flower crown is by [Frou!] and at Totally Top Shelf.

I’m also featuring a new hair release  by Wasabi Pills, which is the new round of FaMESHed as well as the goat by JIAN, also at this event.  Other items being shown is the sleeping dog, which is one of the commons in the Shepherds Collection by JIAN at The Arcade. The last item is the fence set by unKindness and it’s their participation in the RallytoRescue Event.

Whispers in the wind

I know it’s been a few days since I’ve posted here. I’ve been sort of doing catch up the last days with some home and garden decor on my other blog.

Hopefully, I am on track again.  Today I am showing the new skin by Essences called Marin made for the Lelutka Bento mesh head. I am using the shape that came with the head and just tweaked the lips slightly and I gave myself some dimples using an applier by Izzie’s.  The skin is available in several tones, I am wearing a medium tone. You can find the skin at this new round of Shiny Shabby.

I’m also featuring the new hair release by Wasabi Pills, available at the just opened round of Uber.  I really like the soft side swept of the strand across giving it a softer and a slight windblown effect.  The other item that I am showcasing today is the Leif collar by Refined Wild, that can be found at the ongoing Totally Top Shelf Event. It comes with a texture color hud giving you several options for both the leaves and vertical design lines.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and a pleasant and fun New Year. Mine were both enjoyable and spent with my family.  I also spent a week off from blogging to get a good start on organizing my inventory.  It was a mess and still is a mess, though at least I have a good sense of where things are to begin anew.

Today I am showcasing a few items from creators and an event.  I’ll start off with the latter, which is the Totally Top Shelf Event that just opened its doors yesterday and will run until January 27th.  I’ve listed the events mentioned and provided links to their web pages below credits.  The first item that I’m wearing from this event is the skin and body applier that are from Erde called Kora. The skin is available in several tones, the one I’m wearing is from the #10 Hud.  I really like the dark eyebrows especially.

The lip makeup is not part of the skin, but it’s from Zibska and is part of the Reah unisex makeup set that comes with 18 colors in the pack for TMP installer, Catwa, Lelutka & Omega appliers and system tattoo layers. You can find this makeup set at the Project Se7en, that runs until January 20th.

The gown that I’m wearing that comes with the large flower in front and headpiece as well as the applier lace gloves are by .::B L U::.. It flows smoothly down and I love the feeling I get with the mixture of the flower and lace worn. It just makes me exude my femininity a little more. You can find this gown along with the accessories at Totally Top Shelf.

The last item that I am featuring is another great pose by K&S Poses, this one is from the Independent series. You can find the details below and the poses at the main store.

RIP to the feelings I had for you

Ten days ago on my other blog I did another somewhat morbid scene and wanted to title it the same as this one today, except I said in my post that I didn’t want anyone to get the impression I was talking about someone in particular.

Though that title seems to want to be used by me and I find it most appropriate to use with this picture and no, once again this picture pertains to any situation or person in particular.

First, I’m not into all this blood and gore scenes, but bloggers were asked to blog this dress as a special request.  There was a clean version of the dress and my intention was to blog that one until I sorted out my inventory and began to see some other items that I could use and also meet blogging obligations at the same time.

It’s a win win and it allowed me to go beyond my comfort zone, even if I felt a bit weird googling blood textures to use on the porcelain skin called Hope by Essences. It’s available at the Freakshow Carnivale.  The hair is by NSP and its available in a variety of color tones and can be found at the Boho Culture Fair.

The dress and hat as mentioned above is available in a bloody and clean version and it’s by Una and can be found at The Bloody Horror Fair.  The gravestones that are part of the decor are by BananaN and can be found at this round of Totally Top Shelf.

TTS 2nd Anniversary Photo Contest

“She brandished a sword just as good as she did her femininity…”

This anniversary round of Totally Top Shelf is coming to an end in the next days and I wanted to get in one more post before it was over.  I’m also participating in the photo contest as I liked the idea of using items from previous events. Here’s one good reason for liking my inventory set up of naming folders by events and dating them.

I’m featuring the newest release of skins by Essences called Zara made for Catwa and it’s available now at this round of Shiny Shabby.  Now for this contest photo. The theme for this round of Totally Top Shelf is Rome and I really loved this dress that I’m wearing that is named after the Roman Goddess Minerva.  It’s why I decided to stick to the theme for this picture and feature items that would compliment what I’m wearing.  The dress is by [QE] Designs and the ear cuffs are by Attitude is an Art Form, which are a little hard to see so I did this close up photo to show the jewelry a bit better. The other jewelry that I am wearing is by [Ketamine], which are the bracelets and finger rings with turquoise.

The dangling bracelet is an older event item by !Musa!.  The hair and the golden net are by Chimeric Fashions, also from a previous Totally Top Shelf event as well as the Gyda Torq and armlet by QweenB.  The sword also is from a pose set by La Jolie Rose Poses.

The rest of the items are just from ongoing or previous events, which are all listed below.  The garden pavilion with the lanterns, chaise and table are by Dysfunctionality, which I just now recall doing a previous Roman theme, “Respite”.
